  • Crossing the Delaware took place on December 25 1776, the continental army was crossing the Delaware river for a surprise attack on the British, they won and had a slight new advantage in the war.

  • the battle of saratoga was the turning point in the war that happened in 1777, the americans were winning and this made the americans prove the can win so the french came to help them
