Storyboard Text

  • Hey there! My name is Jaylon Fowler and I'm going to be explaining what the cytoskeleton is!
  • What is the cytoskeleton, exactly? The cytoskeleton is a part of the cytoplasm within a cell. It's a network of protein.
  • The cytoskeleton is responsible for moving materials in and out of the cell it is in.
  • The cytoskeleton gives a cell it's shape, offers support to the cell, and faciliates movement through the cell.
  • The cyotskeleton forms a frame for organelles in the cell to move around. This helps the cell function properly.
  • Without the cytoskeleton, cells and organisms wouldn't be the same and everything wouldn't work right. Thanks for letting me teach you!
