  • The Domesday Book is a book that has manuscript records of extent, value, ownership, and liabilities of England. The book was made in 1086 by William the Conquerer.

  • Henry II (England) He began the jury system, a system we use now. Told the common laws and even expanded it to make it a better system for justice.

  • John King (England) He was cornered and was forced to sign the Magna Carta.
  • The Magna Carta was signed by John. The Magna Carta had two very important ideas that would shape England's Government. The Magna Carta's Purpose was so the Nobles had certain rights and so the monarch had to follow the laws.
