natives ruled Latin America now they now they wake up to a new realty.
Long, long ago natives ruled over Latin America. My story began as a baby. We used to work all day long without stopping. As my mother Newka and father Similiea worked, I kept myself busy with my older sister's doll. Each night after a long day, we would gather around a campfire to listen to stories of the past.
I had grown older and had more responsibilities. One day a new people who were from a land far far away called the Peninsulars came to our land. Mom and dad had said that kids would be coming as well as food I could try. That day I could hardly sleep thinking about all the new things that I could experience.
Days after they came and looked around our land they came and spoke with my father. The Peninsular explained to them that they were taking all of our valubles we rely on to live and making us work for them! That night I could not fall asleep again but for a different reason.
Each day I would we locked up in our hut. Every once in a while I could sneak away to watch father and every one else who used to be apart of our tribe be worked to death. Tears would come to my eyes. Each time I watched this the knot in my stomach would tie up harder and harder.
As years pasted slaves were brought from Africa. More Peninsulares came from a place called Europe. Many different races started to get married and have kids ( who I could not see).
One day a boy came nervously running toward my hut. He looked like a Creole. When I saw him I darted back into the hut which was complete darkness. As I looked up two big scary green eyes looked at me. I stayed quit he started making noise at me! After a long time of noise we finally used hand movement to communicate with each other. After a little while he had to leave or else we would be in big trouble.
