  • Good morning class! We are going on an educational field trip today!
  • Did you know that car tires in hot weather tend to explode because the pressure increases when the hot temperature causes the gas molecules to move faster.
  • We have to ride on the bus already. What are you talking about?
  • Science Trivia:Gay-Lussacs law is the direct relationship between temperature and pressure. We encounter this law everyday!

  • Did you realize that as our ride goes higher, the temperature decreases and there will be lesser molecules because of the Gay-Lussacs law which states that if a temperature decreases so as the pressure and vice versa.
  • The pressure cooker is also an example of the Gay-Lussacs law because as the temperature increases causing the pressure to increase above the food that's being cooked which makes it faster to be cooked.
