  • After Othello dismissed Cassio's post, Cassio took Iago's advice and planed to arrange a private meeting with Desdemona to have a better chance of reinstatement.
  • I humbly thank you for't.
  • I’ll send her to you presently; and I’ll devise a mean to draw the Moor out of the way, that your converse and business. May be more free.

  • Cassio saw Emilia, whose Iago's wife and Desdemona's maid, and asked her to find him some time alone with Desdemona.
  • If you think fit, or that it may be done, give me advantage of some brief discourse with Desdemona alone.
  • Pray you, come in; I will bestow you where you shall have time to speak your bosom freely.
  • Emilia, then took Cassio to speak privately with Desdemona in garden of the castle.

  • A few minutes later, Othello walked to the garden along with Iago. As Cassio didnt't feel up to facing him personally, he decided to leave.
