I think we should at least try to find the owner before we take the money for ourselves. Maybe they're still around here.
Just keep it to yourself sweetie, no one will know that you took it. It's a free $50! Who wouldn't want that?
It was a beautiful day out, and Jarred and his parents were taking a walk to celebrate the nice weather.
As they were about to sit on the nearby park bench, Jarred saw a wad of cash on it, and realized there were $50!
Jarred didn't know what to do, and asked his parents for advice. However, as they were talking, he noticed a man walking up and down the next street, looking worried and anxious.
Jarred started to consider what his mother had said, and thought about all of the new toys and games he could buy with the money, but then he felt a pang of guilt. He imagined how he would feel if he had lost so much money.
Jarred ran up to the man, and gave him the money, his father behind him. After realizing the money was his, the man shook Jarred's hand and repeatedly thanked him.
After the man left, Jarred's father congratulated him, and told him he made the right choice. Then, the family continued on their walk, and Jarred knew he had helped someone in need.
