Storyboard Text

  • We will go to preferably Greenwood Elementary School.
  • We will talk to a group of kids, and will teach them a lesson on teamwork. We will have them do activities to help them see how often teamwork is used. And how important is in school.
  • We will use our magnets to demonstrate teamwork, one of them is for drama where the two boys will perform a skit of working together and following directions to accomplish something. it may be something as simple as helping a person move something heavy, or being on a basketball team and working together to score points.
  • With Chloe being in the music magnet, she will sing a song about teamwork, that I (Sade) wrote. This shows teamwork because we both were able to listen to each other, and make sure that the song sounded right when both people rehearsed and practiced.
  • We will then have the class form a circle, and play two activities that involve teamwork. The hula hoop game. This game involves listening, and following directions in order for the goal of the hula hoop to go in a complete cirlce without breaking the circle.
  • The last activity is the parachute game. This is where the children will work together as a team to keep the ball on the parachute as they move the parachute up and down. Well see how long they can keep the ball on the parachute. The main goal of this game is to keep the ball on the parachute, and they have to work together with how fast they are moving. Listening and communicating when its moving to fast is apart of teamwork.
