  • They are at the house and we meet the narrator and the old man.When we get the information that the narrator does not like the old man's evil eye and that the narrator is mad but does not think he is.
  • Climax
  • The narrator wants to kill the old man because of his evil eye. The old man never wronged him but he just hated the old mans evil eye.
  • Falling action
  • The narrator goes into the old man's room every night at midnight for 7 nights in a row. But the narrator can't kill the old man because every night at midnight when he goes into the room the evil eye is shut.
  • Conclusion
  • When the narrator is in the room of the old man and is waiting to kill him and can hear his heart beating. Then he smothers the old man under his mattress.
  • AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!
  • AAAUUUUHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
  • The narrator kills him and cuts up the body and puts it under the floor boards so that no one will find the body.
  • The police come and he invites them into the old mans chamber and sits write on the old mans body. He talks to the police offering them tea. He hears the heart beating and finally breaks, he feels the cops “mocking him” and yells that the body is under the floor boards.
