  • Paul revere was begged by Dr.Warren to ride to Lexington too warren Hancock and Adams at that very moment. When he arrived at Dr.Warren's house he met a messenger. In the message it had talked about who was go to ride out that night to warn the people when and how the Red coats were getting to Lexington; they established a signal. In the north church one of Paul Revers friends is going to hang one lantern if the British are coming by land and two is they are coming by sea.

  • At this time revere went home. Then made his way across town to get into a boat which his friends rowed him to the opposite shore line; during the boat ride he noticed the Somerset.when arriving to his destination he met Colonel Conant and several other men. He was given a horse to ride to Lexington. Before he left a Committee of safety member came to him and warred him about ten British officers he saw on the way here.

  • After he had passed Charlestown Neck, he stumbled apon two British officers. One tried to get ahead or him he other tried to take him down. He turned around and galloped as fast as he could and made it to Medford road. Then he went through Medford and awakened the captain of the minute men. He alarmed almost every house till he reached Lexington.

  • When he got to Lexington he found Hancock and Adams and told them what was going on. After about half an hour Mr.daws, Dr.Prescott, and Paul Revere set off to concord. About half way to concord they stopped to warn people and Revere was surrounded by four British officers around a hundred rods away. Meanwhile, Mr.daws and the doctor are trying to get away; Dr.Prescott jumps a low stone wall and makes it to concord.
  • Around six British officers take Revere to a camp and ask him to dismount his horse and begun to ask him a series of questions;later a different officer asked almost the same questions and held a pistol to his head. After the questioning he was ordered to mount his horse. They rode with him in the front till they got to a major rode, the major then ordered the an who was leading him to blow his brains out if he attempted to run or if anybody insulted them.
  • They rode till they got near Lexington meeting-house, then militia fired a volley of shots. Which scared the major and they took his horse and left leaving him to walk back. When he found Hancock and Adams he told them of his treat men and journey.
