Tsar Nicholas was the leader of Russia in the 1900s, but he had an ineffective leadership which angered the people and later led to the Bloody Sunday and the October Manifesto
The Tsar was a leader that cared about his family as well as Russians but did not make the best choices to govern his people and ended up having them rebel against him. Examples of these actions are...
Giving too much power to the priests and allowed them to tax others. This showed the corruption of the Tsar and angered the people.
Not tolerating freedom of speech, and using violence on whoever spoke against him and said something that he did not like.
And also using violence and discriminating minorities, as he wanted to "Russify" Russia and attacked groups such as Polish people and Jews and tried to destroy their culture by banning their language as well as giving them less rights.
