No talking in the library!
[Sahej Bhasin in his kitchen making his daily chai] "I know that putting too much sugar is bad for the body. I want to do some research for my report, asking myself 'What are the positive effects of sugar?' I know the negative affects of it, why not research the benefits?"
[Sahej in his room thinking about his research] "So I know what I want to research based off of my research question, but I totally forgot I need to make my research plan! My library is open nearby, but I also have Internet; I found sources in these places. I noted down wherever I go to find my research for this assignment. My research plan is just about done!
[Sahej at the library, getting the last of his research done] "Okay! I should be good. I feel comfortable with the amount of research I have. I discarded sources that were unreliable and didn't support my research question. I'm gonna now have to develop a thesis statement; taking my information I just researched at put into one whole thing. "
RESEARCH REPORTS DUE TODAY
[Sahej back home after his research, r beginning his report] "I have all my research and I need to do my thesis statement, I have to remember that a thesis statement answers your research question in a way that summarizes what you learned. 'Sugar’s health benefits to the body include storing fuel, producing energy and creating taste for food.'"
[Sahej almost finished with his report] In my report, I am going to discuss the chemistry behind sugar, and how it can benefit the body. I also will discuss the ways to avoid over consumption of sugar and the reason why it is necessary to life. I am presenting it orally so I need to make it informational but not too lengthy! I also didn't forget to cite my sources!
[The day of presentations, Sahej presenting his report.] "...would be absent from human life; making it impossible to satisfy humans and their energy production. Thank you. ...... I sat down at my desk later realizing that my research report plan helped do this task with ease and knowledge of what to do. The same process will help me in the future for other research reports. "
