The story line adds an emotional layer, however it creates a scenario of tragedy that is often prevalent in the lives of individuals. Some disabilities are not visible. Think about privacy issues for both visible and invisible disabilities. Discuss the scenario often experienced by individuals, of having to retell or otherwise explain their personal story line repeatedly.
Decisions have to be made. Where will you sleep to serve your needs? How will changes impact others? What consequences might these decisions cause?
How will you accomplish daily living tasks such as bathing, going to the bathroom, brushing your teeth, eating, daily chores like laundry, taking out the trash, cooking meals, moving about the house?
What are the homes social activities and how will you participate?, How can you get around outside? Create a presentation of your choice summarizing your experiences.
