  • Galileo Galilei born February 15, 1564 , in Pisa, Italy,he invented the celatone, Galileo's escapement , Galileo's proportional compass. Galileos dad was Vincenzo Galilei, his mother was Giulia di Cosimo Ammannati, he had 5 siblings 2 brothers and 3 sisters. galileo died on January 8, 1642, in Arcetri, Italy.

  • conflicts between the Church and Scientific Revolution churches lost faith from people when their theories and teachings were contradicted. Ideas like heliocentrism  contradicted teachings from the Catholic Church. Science is willing to question the old established beliefs/truths so that new truths can come along.
  • how did the scientific revolution effect us today? Causes: Renaissance encouraged curiosity, investigation, discovery, modern day knowledge. Caused people to question old beliefs. During the era of the Scientific Revolution, people began using experiments and mathematics to understand mysteries. Effects: New discoveries were made, old beliefs began to be proven wrong.
