Title: "The Most Dangerous Game" Exposition: Rainsford and Whitney, General Zaroff. Setting: Tropical night on the Yaht, and on an Island on the Carribeans
Conflict: "No general, I will not hunt." (Connell 73).
Rising Action: (1) "Your brain against mine. Your woodcraft against mine. Your system and stamina against mine. Outdoor chess!" (Connell 74). (2) " 'I'll give him a path to follow'...he executed a series of intricate loops." (Connell 76). (3)"Something was coming throught the bush...the thing that was approaching was a man." (Connell 76).
Climax: "The general was playing with him! The general was saving him for another days sport ...it was then Rainsford knew the full meaning of terror." (connell 76).
Falling Action: "He stood there, rubbing his injured shoulder, and Rainsford with fear again gripping his heart, heard the generals mocking laugh through the jungle." (Connell 77).
Resolution: "The general sucked in his breath and smiled. 'I congratulate you', he said. 'You have won the game.'" (connell 78) Theme: Put yourself in the others shoes, before taking action.
