  • The Crucible was a play based on events of the Salem witch trials, which took place in a Puritan village in Massachusetts in the year 1692.

  • Abigail is deceitful. " I go back to Jesus; I kiss His hand. I saw Sarah Good with the Devil! I saw Goody Osburn with the Devil! I saw Bridget Bishop with the Devil!" Act 1 1050
  • Symbol: Poppet
