The Reunion Of Daisy and Gatsby

Involuntarily I glanced seaward—and distinguished nothing except a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock. Tom Confronts Gatsby

It was after we started with Gatsby toward the house that the gardener saw Wilson's body a little way off in the grass, and the holocaust was complete. Pg- 112. This quote ends the climax with Gatsby dying along with Wilson. It shows that the deed has been done and no big events are over.
