Storyboard Text

  • Hello, What is your name?
  • I'm Emma! I'm here to learn about bear adaptions!
  • Well you've come to the right bear! Let's explore!
  • Hello! My name is  Midnight! What's yours?
  • Cool! So basically bears do this every winter, because it's so cold.
  • This is my cave. I hibernate here. In case you're wondering, hibernation is when bears fall into a deep sleep, and our hearts slow down. We have to store up fat. by eating a ton of fish and berries. That is my mother, she is hibernating.
  • But I thought baby bears drink milk!
  • They do but, one,  they taste meat when they're one year old, and two, the mother bear needs food to make the milk in the first place.
  • Awesome!
  • When bears forage they look for food for either hibernation in the autumn, or look for food for their cubs in the spring and summer .
  • When the rangers tie you up, they are tranquilizing you.
  • In the city, bears have to forage for their food and well being. We eat leftovers from inside your garbage cans. Rangers tie us up and we wake up back home. Though sometimes in unfamiliar place, far away from home.
  • Hello! Just taking this sunfish back to my den.
  • Bears fish,  occasionally only opening their mouths when the salmon migrate.
  • Bears are really curious. A bear cub can stick it's nose in a hole to try and chase a mouse or rabbit.
  • SO CUTE!!!!!
