3rd Punic War
We Won!!! Yay!
It started because Rome wanted Sicily's graineries. Rome won by making a sea battle into a land battle using the corvus, which is a movable bridge that attched Romans boat to Carthage's boat, and Rome gained Sicily from Carthage.
This war started because Hannibal was mad at the Romans, but Rome still won because when Carthage came to attack they did not have the necessary equipment to batter down the city's walls. Rome got money, copper, gold, lead, iron, and many territories from Carthage.
This war started because the Romans noticed Carthage was regaining power, so they went and attacked Carthage. The Romans won because they burned down the city and plowed salt into the fields. The Romans added Greece to the areas they owned. They were now the leading power in the Mediterranean World.
