Jemma Marsh is not just a teen going through a rebellious phase. Because she has a secret—she can see when a person will die. She likes to go to places where nobody is—where she don't have to look at anyone to see their numbers. She was living a miserable life until Spider invaded her personal space. Little did she know that this easy-go-lucky, annoying, tall guy would also stir up her feelings and emotions in the short time he has left.
Spider's only "relative" Nan can see people's aura or the energy they carry within them, that's why she sort of sense the burden Jem feels. After they bid their goodbyes, the 2 spent most of their days together and even went to London. It was a normal fine day until Jem saw lots of numbers with the same exact digits, the present date. She freaked out, ran as fast as she can without telling Spider why and did not bother the CCTV around the place.
After the London bombing incident, the police thoroughly looked for 2 teens who ran out oddly minutes before the explosion. Jem and Spider ran away from their home and tried not to cause too much scene so they won't be recognized by anyone. But after few days, a wounded Spider was captured by policemen nearby. Jem ran away with the anxiety of a prisoner Spider. She wandered and wandered yet not a day passed that she won't reminisce her lover, Spider.
A NEW BEGINNING
Simon, a guy from the abbey church, opened doors for Jem. Karen, her foster mother, went to the abbey to ensure her she's okay by staying with her to talk sincerely. Jem is alright and she demanded for Spider to be freed from prison. Both the police and the crowd seeks Jem. They know her secret and wants to know the truth behind the bombing. Policemen came with a grinning Spider with them. The crowd inside the abbey clapped as the teens finally reunited. Despite the happiness she felt, the anxiety of knowing Spider's death is the present day also lingers through her mind. She tried to end her life because she that it may stop his death. As Spider tried to change her mind, he slipped on the roof and fell for his death. Jem was not surprised, the numbers never fail and Spider's numbers had gone.
After 5 years, Jem finally moved on and became more mature, thanks to Spider. The incident back then was resolved and now, she has Adam, the fruit of their love.
