Beowulf and the Geatish warriors have sailed the sea and are landing in the Land of Danes. Beowulf has come to the Land of Danes because King Hothgar and his people are being terrorized by a demon named Grendel. Beowulf vies this as a challenge and wants to defeat this demon,
The aftermath of the fight
King Hothgar gladly accepts Beowulf help. King Hogthgar had once helped Beowulf father, Ecgtheow and Beowulf wants to help King Hothgar. In celebration of this upcoming fight, King Hothgar hold a feast in Beowulf honor. Beowulf will proudly talk about his past accomplishements.
Once again, defending the country
To prove to everyone that he is courageous, Beuwolf goes to fight Grendel. Grendel has once again attacked the village. In the moors, Grendel attacks the resting group. He rips open the heavy doors and devours one of the soldiers. Beowulf will start to fight back.
After Beowulf mortally wounds Grendel, his mother returns to avenge her son. As the warriors are sleeping, she kills another solider. In revenge, Beowulf goes to Grendel mother's cave to seek her out. Beowulf then kills Grendel's mom and cuts of Grendel's head and returns the head to the King.
50 years later, Beowulf is once again tested. After ruling the country peacefully, the country is invaded by a fire breathing dragon. The dragon brings destruction to land and Beowulf once again goes to defend the country, This time it is harder for Beowulf to fight because he is 50 years older. In the end , however, Beowulf and his trusty kinsman, Wiglaf, defeat the dragon.
During the fight with dragon, Beowulf is mortally wounded. He passes the kingdom to his kinsman, Wiglaf, because he stood beside Beowulf to defeat the dragon. Wiglaf will then bury Beowulf, in a fitting end.
