  • Stuck
  • Borrowing a House
  • Preparation
  • Washington and his army are stuck on one side of the river, they will plan to build boats and take there army to the other side when the hessians don't expect it.
  • Setting Off
  • This is when they borrowed this house as a base and to help keep the supplies. General Washington had to negotiate with the house's owner to be able to get it.
  • The Battle
  • They must prepare the boats, the guns, and the supplies very fast to get to the other side before daylight. Men rush get on the boats and row to the other side of the river.
  • Back Home
  • It's early in the morning and the army sets off to catch the hessians off guard. They took boats across the river, it was tough but they managed to get across, although they began to see daylight. 
  • The battle begins!, Unexpectedly the army got there during day light but luckily the hessians were still asleep which was perfect and they surprised them when attacking.
  • Quickly they must get back across the river because 20,000 red coats are trailing behind them, and the river will help be a defense between them.
