Ah, the Townshend act, it all began when British taxed colonists for goods such as paper, glass, paint, and tea. Colonists tried boycotting the British, but failed because of the raised price for goods.
This can't be good!
We are now hereby raising the price of all goods including the following...
I said hold your fire you idiots!
The Boston massacre led to the death of five civilians including an African American, Crispus Attucks
Redcoats were not allowed to hurt colonists, but a simple mix up on words costed them.
The colonists were fed up with the price for tea, so together, they dressed as Native Americans and broke past the Boston harbor. Together, they dumped 10,000 shillings worth of tea into the ocean.
Angered by the rebelling colonists, King George III passed a new set of harsh laws that negatively affected the colonists.
These included: Closing the harbor for trade, forcing colonists to obey the king's every command, and took away the right to self govern. These will be remembered as the intolerable acts.
We now here come to recognize...
Delegates from all colonies met in Philadelphia to discuss the conflict with England, with plans organized, they would soon sign the declaration of independence.
Delegates voted to ban trade with England until the intolerable acts ended.
Something must be done!
Finally, the revolution began, along with Paul Revere's midnight ride, warning Bostonian's of the approaching British Soldier's prepared to attack. This outsmarted the British. Shots were fired in Lexington and the war neared it's end. With the British outsmarted, America won both battles!
The British are coming, the British are coming!!!
I believe that in revolting against the British, colonists were justified, for now they live comfortable lives by those who wanted a change.
