Acid Rain is when No2 and So2 react with substances like water and oxygen to form more acidic pollutants.
Acid Rain can fall to the Earth as any type of precipitation whether it be rain, snow, hail, or fog. Even just dust!
Because of Acid Rain our environment faces many troubles. It declines aquatic animal population, causes forest decline, makes eggs thin-shelled and much more.
A great way to reduce acid rain is to produce energy without using fossil fuels. Instead, people can use renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power.
If we all make an attempt to use greener energy and take better care of our environment, together, we can make our Earth and its atmosphere a healthier place to live!
