Storyboard Text

  • Amazing! I learned about physical and chemical properties!
  • Like the the color of you cup and the smell of your tea are examples of physical properties!
  • Hi honey! How was your day at school?
  • How interesting! What are some more examples?
  • Well the honey in your tea has a lot of viscosity and density! And look at your tea and its opacity. These are both also physical properties of your tea.
  • Of course! There are many others like the magnet on the fridge is there because of its magnetic attraction to one another. But what's even cooler is chemical properties!
  • The magnet is also an example of a chemical property of electromagnetic forces.
  • Are there any more physical properties?
  • Wow!!!
  • Wow! Who would've thought?!
  • PH levels are one of the many things that are tested in a swimming pool. Ph levels show if the water is acidic or basic. This is one example of a chemical property.
  • When you light a match you have heat combustion.
  • That is amazing!!
  • This metal is lithium. When it is put in water it becomes flammable. This is a chemical reaction with the water.
