• Ok so its asking to solve the ion molarity when 250. mL of 5.35M of ferrous nitrate is mixed with 250. mL of 4.75 M potassium phosphate. ﻿
• 1)   3 Fe(NO3)2 + 2 K3PO4  → Fe3(PO4)2 (s)+ 6 KNO3                          250 mL        250 mL                5.35 M          4.75 M
• 1) Write, Balance, and find the precipitate of the equation. (Also write the givens under.)
• 1) Solve the ion molarity when 250. mL of 5.35M of ferrous nitrate is mixed with 250. mL of 4.75 M potassium phosphate. ﻿
•  2) 250 mL ( E-3 L / 1 mL ) = .25 Liters                       Fe(NO3)2 : x/.25 = 5.53 M  x = 1.38 Moles                       K3PO4 : x/.25 = 4.75 M       x = 1.19 Moles
• 1)   3Fe(NO3)2 + 2K3PO4  → Fe3(PO4)2 (s)+ 6KNO3                          250 mL        250 mL                5.35 M          4.75 M

• 2) Calculate the moles for each reactant with the formula Moles/Liters = Molarity.
