Storyboard Text

  • I'm really looking forward to going to the movies with my cousins. I'm really excited and happy to be seeing them. I've been waiting all day!
  • Mum got a call from my aunty and my cousins can't come to the movies anymore because they are sick. Sometimes plans change and it's not anyone's fault.
  • Even so, I'm really disappointed and this makes me sad and angry. I really really wanted to see my cousins. It's not fair! I'm about to get to the red zone....
  • When I'm sad or angry there are things I can do to feel better. I can take a deep breath, have a drink, clench my fists and shake it off, or go to a quiet place and play on my iPad till I calm down.
  • Once I feel better, I can make a new plan. I have a think about what else we can do that will be fun. I can do this by myself or ask an adult for help.
  • I came up with a new plan. Me, my brother, my mum and dad are going to catch Pokemon at the lake. We might even get an ice cream. I'm feeling happy and relaxed again. Sometimes the new plans can be better!
