In chapter 9 the Puritans are traveling to their destination when a terrible storm hits their boat. while the boat is in peril a man named Bradford, the narrator, lets us know that it was Gods plan for this to happen.
In chapter 10 the scene is depicted as a stormy and rocky place. Cape Cod to the puritans was a terrible place as described by Bradford. He said it was cold and gloomy with very little places to start a shelter.
Many things happened in chapter 11 that really shaped who the puritans turned out to be. Many people lost there lives because of illness. This chapter was also the first thanksgiving. Both the Indians and the puritans cam together in forgiveness and loving-ness to share a meal and start a great live together as one.
