  • blood will have blood!
  • after Banquo and Fleanace leave, Macbeth is guided to the kings room by a floating dagger.
  • act 2, scene 4
  • Macbeth reaches the kings chamber and does exactly what the prophecies said he would.
  • act 2, scene 4 & 5
  • in guilt, Macbeth runs down to Lady Macbeth, still holding the dagger, and tells her he can't finish it off so she does it for him "i hath done the deed"
  • act 2, scene 5 & 6
  • the drunken porter adds comic relief to the dark intense death of Dunken by saying nonsense.
  • Macbeth is crowned king!
  • Ross is talking to an old man when McDuff tells him that Macbeth will be king now
  • Mcduff flees to England to get help from their king.
