An occupation suitable for my logical-mathematic intelligence would be a pediatrician. In this career, I need to have the ability to analyze and make graphs according to treatments. I also need to use math and science when writing prescriptions, which involves dosage, etc. A lot of critical thinking is involved to make the right decisions for patients too. I also really like to work and be around children, so I think this career would be suitable for me.
Another occupation suitable for logical-mathematical is a biologist. As a biologist, I need to have the ability of analytical thinking, investigating issues scientifically, observing to make scientific conclusions, etc. This involves a lot of math as well. I really enjoy biology so far and will like to learn more about it, which is why this career may be suitable for me.
A career for my musical-rhythmic intelligence can be a music teacher. I can use my ability of recognizing and creating musical pitches, tones and rythms to teach other kids. I like being around kids, as well as working with them, so it would be a great way to spread my love for music to others. I can also help other kids develop their musical-rhythmic intelligence.
My Final Thoughts
My multiple intelligences have shown me a variety of different occupations suitable for me. I can use this knowledge to make a smart decision of picking a career for myself in the future. Until then, I'll stick to the possible careers related to helping others, as a type of doctor, teacher or maybe an author.
A career option for my intrapersonal intelligence can be a psychologist. By having the ability of self-awareness, I can also help others understand themselves just like I do with myself. I can use my skills to help people cope more effectively with their life issues and mental health problems. I enjoy reflecting on myself and maybe I can help others use their self-regulation to improve their mental health, which is why this career can be suitable for me.
Another occupation suitable for my intrapersonal intelligence is an author. I really enjoy writing and reading. I can use my ability to understand my emotions and thoughts to connect with others through books. With this knowledge, I can make a book much more enjoyable for the reader if it stimulates their emotions. Maybe someday I can write my own book using my intrapersonal intelligence.
To conclude, intelligence can be viewed from many different perspectives as there's no one type of intelligence. Everyone's strengths differ depending on their intelligences, including mine. By discovering my strength of being math smart, music smart and self-smart, I can direct my career choices based on those to be more suitable for me.
