Storyboard Text

  • The odyssey book 16 " Father and son"
  • The talk with Athena
  • Arriving at the swineherds home
  • Odysseus gets transformed into a old man or a beggar by Athena so that he can surprise the suitors.Then Odysseus gets urged by Athena to go and talk to his swineherd Eumaues. Then Eumaues tells Odysseus about the things that have been happening at home.
  • Father meets son
  • Athena the goddess of wisdom and military victory talks to Telemachus. She then tells him to head home to his hometown.  She also warns him of the suitors plan to kill him and then says that he has to stay with the swineherd for the night . Telemachus finally agrees and then heads home and goes to the swineherd to stay the night there.
  • The plot
  • Telemachus does as Athena says and heads to the swineherds home for the night and sees him talking to an old man or a beggar. Then the dogs start to bark and odysseus or the old man tells Eumaues that someone is aproaching. Then as he looked in that direction he saw his very tall son Telemachus. Then Eumaues says to Telemachus that he must sit down and he does.
  • The End
  • Once Odysseus Telemachus and Eumaeus sit down Odysseus reveals his true identity to his son Telemachus. Telemachus then thinks that his father is a god but odysseus reveals to him that he is his father that he never had. Then a shocked TeleTelemachus starts to cry because he finally got to see his father.
  • After all of the tears and joy of having a father after all. Telemachus and Odysseus start to plan on how to go past the suitors. Odysseus tells his son that the next day Athena will disguise him as a beggar again. He says that while he is talking to the suitors get all of their weapons and lock them up and to not tell anyone about him being disguised.
  • The next day they head of to go to the suitors and to start their plan . Also even though they are going to go do something risky they have each other. Tellamachus has his father and Odysseus has his son.
