  • It is the result of the mixture of white, black and indigenous. The predominant coastal type is the mulatto. Most whites live in cities, indigenous groups live in Guajira, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and in the Urabá area, and the mestizos that constitute the majority of the inhabitants of the region are distributed throughout the region . The coastal man is tall, cheerful, sincere, generous, very hospitable, loving music, parties, dancing and sports.
  • The Caribbean Region
  • It is the most populated area of the country the majority of the population is descended from the Indians and Spaniards who have inhabited the region.
  • the Andean region
  • The human groups that make up its population are black and mulatto. There are indigenous groups that still retain their culture, because they are very suspicious of whites like cathies and cribs, chocoes, citaraes and cholos.
  •  the Pacific region
  • Aboriginal, llanero and white are found there. The Llaneros are mestizos and constitute the majority of the population. Settlers are colonists who come from the center of the country with the desire to stay to work the resources offered by the medium. 
  • orinoquia region
  • The population is very scarce. There are Aborigines, whites and mestizos.
