Storyboard Text

  • Romeo is young and troubled. He falls in love with Juliet very quickly.
  • But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
  • Constant fighting between House Montague and House Capulet.
  • Two households, both alike in dignity(In fair Verona, where we lay our scene), From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
  • Tybalt Kills Mercutio; Romeo kills Tybalt.
  • Alive in triumph! And Mercutio slain... fire-eyed fury be my conduct now!
  • Romeo is banished, but Juliet has an idea; she drinks a potion that only makes her appear to be dead so that she can be with Romeo.
  • And in this borrow'd likeness of shrunk death, Thou shalt continue two and forty hours, and then awake as from a pleasant sleep.
  • There is no world without Verona walls but purgatory, torture, hell itself.
  • Romeo receives news that Juliet is dead and does not receive her letter; Romeo purchases a deadly poison.
  • I pay thy poverty and not thy will.
  • Romeo drinks the poison; Juliet wakes up and stabs herself in the heart.
  • Oh, happy dagger, this is thy sheath. There rust, and let me die.
