Storyboard Text

  • One day, a naive, rich girl named Ms. Happi was walking by a newspaper stand where Mr. Sly was selling "high quality" magazines.
  • Hello there! Would you like to get an awesome fashion magazine with every celebrity's signature on it?
  • Ooh! That sounds great! How much will it cost?
  • Okay. Let me get my money.
  • Well, since it has a lot of celebrity's signatures, that will be nine thousand dollars.
  • Here's your receipt, Ms!
  • Sure?
  • Hmm... this seems weird.
  • Thank you much for your money! Before I get your magazine, I need to go to bathroom for five minutes.
  • However, Mr. Sly never came back with the magazine. He had just taken her money and left! Luckily, she called the police and they were able to find Mr. Sly and Ms. Happi took him to court for fraud.
  • In court, Ms. Happi is suing for her loss of nine thousand dollars.
  • Your Honor, this man promised me a magazine for $9,000 , but he cheated me and took my money. To prove my case, I have the receipt of this purchase.
  • After reviewing the case, the judge also found that Mr. Sly had been doing this to other people as well. The judge ruled that Ms. Happi receive back her nine-thousand dollars and Mr. Sly was sent to jail for 5 years and 100 hours of community service.
