Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • This eye haunts me day and night! I have to get rid of it NOW!
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • The man is sitting in his home, explaining why he wants to kill the old man. He wants to kill him because the old man has an eye that is light blue, and reminds the narrator of a vulture. This eye turns the narrator insane and he wants to kill the old man.
  • Falling Action
  • This is when the narrator gets into the old man's house, and starts plotting and deciding how to kill the man. He goes there night after night, until the 8th night, when the old man finally hears the narrator in his house.
  • Resolution
  • This is the night where the old man gets killed. Because the old man heard the narrator, his heart started beating so loudly, that it angered the narrator. He couldn't take it anymore and finally snapped. He smashed the old man with the bed, and he was dead.
  • This is the scene where the cops come to the old man's house because somebody heard a scream and called the cops, but the narrator just told the cops it was a misunderstanding and that the old man was out of town and he is watching over the house. The cops stay and talk for a while after that.
  • In this scene, the narrator finally bursts and tell the cops about everything he had done. About how he killed the old man and how he buried him under the floor boards. The cops were shocked because they didn't expect anything was wrong, they just thought the old man was out of town.
