They would come into town and sell their own wares for profit
The industrial revolution introduced factories and mass production, as well as new power sources known as coal and steam power.
With the introduction of new power sources new ways of transportation was discovered such as steam trains and steamboats.
with the new transportation it made it easier to sell products overseas. many people started to open stores
many people came from country and rural areas to find new work in the city, increasing the population
