Storyboard Text

  • Hi my name is Rudy the raindrop. i have been evaporated from the river by solar radiation and I am siting in the cloud. The heat from the sun caused me to turn into a gas.
  • Next I condensate from water vapor to liquid in the atmosphere to form a cloud. Also energy is released by the water. The sun keeps the water vapor a liquid.
  • After I have been evaporated I precipitate, which means that concerned water fell to the ground by gravity.
  • After I precipitate I did not soak in the ground or evaporated, but instead I flowed across the earth's surface, known as runoff. The water is pulled downward by gravity.
  • runoff
  • After the runoff I soak in the ground pulled by gravity and collects in the pore spaces between particles which is called groundwater.
  • After groundwater the water is infiltrated which means that the water is pulled by gravity down in the soil and soaks between the soil and rock layers. Then the cycle starts all over again.
