Storyboard Description

A family of four is down to three because their father/ husband died during war and daughter and baby ask where daddy is.

Storyboard Text

  • This is the story of how wwii effected families emotionally. 
  • Emma, Daddys not coming home. Your father died during the war.
  • One day after the war, Emma saw that her father had not come home, though the war was done. She had asked her mother and found out that he had died during the war.
  • Mama Wheres Daddy
  • Because its a war. People die during wars.
  • Emma was so heart broken, she asked why they killed her daddy. Her mother told her thats what happend during the wars. 
  • Why? Why is he dead? why did they kill him?
  • Later that night...
  • That night during bed time, her mother heard her sobbing. Asking why her father left them. She asked her husband what she should do because he had died.
  • Daddy Why daddy. Why did you leave us. 
  • John, Emmas Little heart is hurting. What should I do?
  •  The next day at school...
  • Look little Emma is sad. Why? Oh I know, Your father died during the war. At least thats what I heard. Ha! At least I still have my dad!
  • Leave her alone. She didn't know what had happened until yesterday! Now leave!
  • When her father died, a few nights after she had found out. She went to school the day after and was bullied because of her fathers death.
  • She pondered how she could of changed the death of her father. She did this all during class. 
  • All Right class. Lets get focused. That means you too emma. GO take yours seat please emma. 
  • Later that night after dinner...
  • I know, I just wish that he could come back.
  • We cant change the past, but you can make a difference in the future.  
  • After dinner, she and her mother talked about her day and how she couldn't change ay thing, but can make a difference in the future.
