This storyboard does not have a description.
Just like Jesus’ parables, my story is about an everyday event, which children can easily relate to. I have used simple language and the storyline is very straight-forward. Like a parable, the most important part of the story – the message or challenge - is at the end. The message contained in my story challenges children to change the way they think and/or behave.
Jesus used a lot of different ways to teach his disciples, including parables. He wanted them to lead good and holy lives and the parables inspired them to want to become better people and to continue teaching others about the Kingdom of God after Jesus had left them. After Jesus died, the disciples retold the parables that he had taught them to people everywhere, to teach people how God wanted them to live their lives. (Understanding Faith - Primary, 2017)
A parable is a story that helps people to think about the way they live and tells them how to live good and holy lives. (Understanding Faith - Primary, 2017)
