  • This is Isabella. She wants to cook dinner using the stove.
  • OUCH! 
  • Looks like Isabella Burnt herself! 
  • Receptor: Hand
  • Stimulus: heat
  • At receptors in her body quickly detects the stimulus, which is heat.
  • Sensory Neuron sends a nerve impulse to the spinal cord or brain
  • Then it is passed on to the motor neuron.
  • The Information gets processed in the CNS.
  • Finally, the motor nerve passes the message to the effector muscle.
  • The effector muscle carries our the response, which in this case is Isabella pulling away her hand from the fire.
