Storyboard Text

  • I love horseback riding so much. Especially in the summer. But it's not so much fun in the winter because you get so cold, especially your hands and feet.
  • I wonder if you're more likely to hurt yourself riding in the winter than in the summer?
  • Independent Variable: The temperature you're riding in (celsius) Dependent Variable: Risk of injury (percentage)
  • If the temperature is below -20 degrees celsius, then you have a higher percentage of injury.
  • Cold weather comes with many health risks. Anything from frostbite to pneumonia can happen, not to mention the fact that horseback riding has many risks of its own.
  • Conditions - moderate (between -5 and -10 celsius) - chilly (between -10 and -15 celsius) - cold (between -15 and -20) -extreme (-20+)
  • If I'm going to test this out I need conditions and a control run.
  • My control run will be between -10 and -15 degrees celsius.
  • -5 to -10 degrees celsius
