Traveling in Greece isn't so easy. The roads in ancient Greece are unpaved, full of sharp rocks, and muddy. A carriage can easily get stuck in the mud or can brake from the sharp rocks.
Sometimes the farms in Greece have a lot of difficulty growing things because of all the mountains. But farmers can solves these problems with solutions like animals and trading.
Since Greeks had trouble planting certain things they started to trade. They would trade olive oil and pottery for metal, wood, and grains. But Merchant sails had to go through a lot of trouble getting to places with no lighthouses and just the stars to follow.
