  • We're here!!
  • This Protein that was just made can be for many things! Such as keeping your energy high!
  • YAY!
  • Alright, let's finish the lesson outside!
  • why?
  • Your body needs to make and store as many proteins as it can!
  • Wow. That's really interesting! But...
  • So it can complete the necessary functions your body needs and to keep you healthy! 
  • Yes, you an go play now!
  • Like a flower and a bee!
  • Ribosomes! They place the 'start codon' to attract the 'anticodon'.
  • Exactly!
  • Is that why we're going to the park?
  • It also joins two amino acids-- methionine and phenylalanine. Then breaking the bond between methionine and its tRNA,which flies away like the bee. 
  • What happens next?
  • Yes!
  • The ribosome continues down the strand with the same process, until it reaches one of the three 'stop codons'. Once everything is done you have complete polypeptide.
  • Polypeptide sure does sound like pollination!
  • True! Find a way to use that when you study.
