Storyboard Text

  • 1st shot - Piece of paper saying the word 'Depression' on it and slowly burning. This shot reoccurs throughout the film.
  • Vox Pops In one word, describe depression.
  • 3rd shot - "Depression... The state of feeling unhappy and having no hope for the future." - Moving around bedroom slowly and voice over.
  • 4th shot - "The things that once made you happy, no longer do" - Shot of my dog, this is the thing that makes the character happy.
  • 5th shot - "Some days, you just struggle to wake up..." - Shot as though it is from the eyes of the person with depression.
  • Other shots are very similar, with the person slowly getting worse and struggling to get up. There is a calendar marking every day and every day the character is getting worse and worse until they're just staring up at the ceiling. There is voice over while this is happening explaining more about depression and the things that happen during it. Then at the end the person commits suicide.
