  • The Fall of Bastille
  • March on Versailles
  • The people of the thrid estate were locked out of the meeting room so they met in the tennis court. There, the representatives of the third estate wrote a constitution.
  • Declaration of the Republic and the Trial of Louis
  • A prison was attacked by an angry mob of people. The people wanted to get gun powder.
  • Reign of Terror
  • Women of France marched down the street arguing the prices of bread and their rights.
  • Directory and the Rise of Napoleon
  • King Louis XVI was found taken to court and tried along with his wife, Marie Antoinette. He was later taken to the guillotine. His wife then faced the same fate several months later.
  • Robespierre began to take over after King Louis XVI was killed. He killed anyone who did not support him.
  • After the fall of Robespierre, Napoleon took over. He seized political power and made peace with Europe.
