  • Exposition
  • *gulp*
  • FREEDOM FOR ANIMALS!!!
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • On the Manor Farm, the animals, led by Old Major, decided that they had had enough of the horrible treatment they were getting. They made a plan to rebel from the humans.
  • Theme
  • Animal Farm
  • Finally, the animals begin the rebellion and they kick off the humans from the Manor Farm. However, Mr. Jones and others come back to reclaim the farm. Despite Snowball being shot, the animals claim victory once again.
  • Falling Action
  • LOOK YOU FOOLS!
  • Napoleon is sending Boxer to the hospital for the best care!
  • Napoleon uses the dogs that he had been secretly training to chase Snowball off the farm. He then decides that the pigs will be the ones to make all the decisions on the farm.
  • Resolution
  • The other animals (the working class) are taken advantage of because they have less intellect than the pigs. The pigs abuse their power and all of this forms a social hierarchy they had previously resented, similarly to the corruption of the socialist ideals in the Soviet Union.
  • Soviet Union
  • Napoleon continues to defy the Seven Commandments while Squealer uses propaganda to cover it up. The other animals were being mistreated and they began to suspect what was really going on.
  • Horse Slaughter
  • The pigs were hungry for money and drink, they walked on two legs, and they slept on beds. When the animals looked at the pigs and looked at  the humans, they could no longer see the difference.
