  • Pruning Process
  • Maturation is the process in which a child grows up. Tori grows up and matures from infancy to child, the toys that Tori play with change. This is shwoing hiw she is growing up from infancy to childhood 
  • Infantile Amnesia 
  • In the frontal lobes between the ages of 3 and 6 is where the growing happens at a rapid pace, in the association areas that are linked with memory thinking and language are the areas the last areas cortical areas to develop. 
  • Mobile memory 
  • Use it or lose it. This process shuts down unused links and strengthens ones that are being used. The cerebellum is what gives toddlers the ability to walk at age 1, also controls bowel and bladder control. 
  • Infancy and Childhood
  • Infantile amnesia prevents you from being able to recall many events that happened before your third birthday. Childhood Amnesia allows for you to remember events that happened  after your fourth birthday. 
  • Mobile memory is the memory that explains how the brain remembers. during the infancy stages, this information is stored for only about a month. 
  • Through infancy and childhood the brain and the ways of remembering mature.
