  • Why can't we be more advanced...?
  • Paleolithic Age
  • I wonder if I could move this plant closer to my family's cave?
  • Must...  get... food...
  • WAAAAAH (I'm hungry)
  • Agricultural revolution
  • If I hadn't discover agriculture, you guys would probably be dead.
  • These people are insane.
  • Don't be smug dear.
  • Can I have a break... PLEASE..?
  • Constructing permanent shelters
  • Kids, stop fighting and help me fix this roof.
  • That baby sure is loud..
  • NO! YOU HAVEN'T EVEN DONE ANYTHING!!
  • WAAAAAH
  • In the Paleolithic Age, people would have to live off what the land provided. Some people lived in caves. Men would usually risk their lives every day to hunt for wild animals, whereas women would usually try to find edible nuts, berries, seeds, etc. She would have to bring her kids, if they had any, with her and watch over them while collecting.
  • Founding communities
  • I've always dreamed of being a fisherman..
  • The Neolithic Age began when people learned that they could grow their food in a specific place.  Over this time, people also learned how to contain and manage animals. They started to find good places to settle down, such as an area next to a river or an area with a variety of plant species and animals. Agriculture took thousands of years to completely discover, as it became known to people.
  • Developing new careers/hobbies
  • WAAAAAH (I'm to full. IT HURTS)
  • Where did that fog come from?
  • WAAAAH (who is this lady and why is she holding me?!?)
  • People are soon using natural resources to build permanent shelters. The shelter is made out of mud and sometimes had rocks or branches added to it to make more stable walls. The permanent shelters are important because they provide protection from dangerous animals or weather. Having permanent shelters encouraged people to gather together and form communities.
  • Interchange (trading)
  • Lets trade!
  • Shhhhhh
  • WAAAAAAAAAH (I'm tired)
  • People now have the ability to settle down in one place. Since the discovery of agriculture, it will let them stay there and not move from place to pace to keep a stable food supply. Many different people started to form communities. they all live in one place surrounded by good natural resources. Humans then began to thrive and people started focusing on other useful jobs/hobbies.
  • WAAAAH
  • I made a basket, but what do I use it for?
  • Hmmmm...
  • Now that people have more than enough food, they started to do more useful things, such as weaving baskets for food, doing pottery, fishing, trading, etc. Now that people had one job to work on at a time, they began to find more useful/efficient ways to do their jobs.
  • I thing we should- OW
  • Now different communities are trading different resources. Since  people have different jobs, they have different, useful things to trade. People usually trade for things they don't have in their community. Trading had become more common when people settled in to their community.
  • Don't you dare run away..
