- As my mom grabs her books for school, she starts hearing that all of her classes are getting canceled.
- Oh no, what's going on?!
- You should drive over here. Maybe we can turn on the news and figure out what's going on.
- As she walks downstairs, she's on the phone with her friend, asking her to come over.
- WHAT?! The Twin Towers have just been hijacked?
- This is insane, scary, and confusing. I don't even understand.
- Of course.
- Do you think I could stay the night? I think it would make both of us feel more safe.
- It's getting kind of late so we should probably go to bed, but I'm glad we were there for each other today.
- Me too, it was extremely scary watching the Today Show and seeing the second plane crash into the second tower.
- I think we grew from that experience, regards to how sad it was.
- THE NEXT MORNING
- Hopefully today will be a better day.
