Storyboard Text

  • The attacks on September 11th, 2001, changed the worlds views on Muslims and the Islam religion forever.
  • Islamophobia has been around even before this event occurred, but now it's worse than ever before. We cannot wear our Hijabs without being accused of being terrorist, just because of one thing someone did
  • I am judged everywhere I go, because of how I dress. They think I "hide" myself behind my Burka. But I do not. Why am I judged for expressing myself, when you are not?
  • In late December, 2016, Adam Hussian was kicked off a Delta flight because him and his friend were speaking Arabic, and passengers claimed it made them feel uncomfortable
  • Our homes are bombed, because you blame all of us. All of us for something not all of us did. We are alone.
  • A video was created, an experiment, where a Muslim man blind folded himself, put out a sign, held his arms up, and asked if people would hug him even though he was Muslim. This needs to stop, you cannot blame a whole race or religion for the acts of others. They are just like everyone else. How would you feel if people wanted you dead because of your hat?
